Joanna has wide-ranging experience and a successful track record of leading complex high profile construction projects and working closely with client, design and construction teams.
Drawing on her project and programme delivery background Joanna is able to offer effective strategic advice and assistance with project definition and implementation, including risk and value, and the management of capital expenditure portfolios.
Until 2013 Joanna was a Director, and Global leader for Programme and Project Management, with Arup, one of the world’s leading multi-disciplinary consultancies. She was a founder of Arup’s project management business, which twice won Project Management Company of the Year.
Her main sectors of work have been infrastructure, transport, commercial developments, financial services, arts, heritage, educational and research facilities.
She is actively involved in public and professional affairs utilising her technical expertise, analytical skills, knowledge of ‘big budget’ projects and cost controls, and of leading large multi-disciplinary teams
Joanna joined the Colander team in 2015 to run our facilitated project workshops.
