Time management
Who is this course for?
The purpose of this course is to explore specific causes of poor time management, and so help individuals make better use of this precious resource. It is designed to be equally suitable for partners or directors and staff at all levels. It addresses three main issues:
• How time is used at present
• How it could be used to better effect
• Ways of overcoming the factors that prevent its more efficient use
Course format
This is a half-day course for a maximum of 12 delegates. It combines theory and advice with discussions and case studies and offers practical opportunities for individuals to review their current use of time and create action plans for the future. A group of 10 to 12 delegates is ideal.
If a more in-depth session is required then please consider our full day course being more efficient.
Course content
All in-house courses can be tailored to meet the exact requirements of individual practices, suggested topics include:
• What causes poor time management
• Who and/or what controls the use of time
• Delegating, and being delegated to
• Acknowledging and optimising the circadian cycle
• Balancing the objective needs of the task with the subjective needs of leadership when setting priorities
• The process of planning
• Recognising and dealing with time wasting
Cost
The cost of this course is on a sliding scale, depending on the number of delegates:
Up to 9 delegates: £1,250 + VAT per half-day
10 to 12 delegates: £1,500 + VAT per half-day
Preparation time needed to tailor the course to your specific needs will be agreed with you in advance and charged at our standard day rates, available on request.
