Public course
Networking and relationship building
Wednesday 16 June 2010
14.00 to 17.30
Who is this course for?
This course is for partners and directors, as well as senior staff who find themselves meeting new people and needing to impress them, on behalf of their practices.
Purpose of the course?
The Construction Industry thrives on sustainable and authentic relationships. Strong personal connections improve business opportunities and are more rewarding – both personally and professionally. Talking to strangers and engaging them in a conversation that allows a potential professional relationship to develop, is not something that comes naturally to most people. For many, ‘networking’ and ‘selling’ are the two most uncomfortable aspects of marketing.
This course is designed to give participants practical tools with which to confront the fears and obstacles inherent in a networking environment and to make networking a constructive, if not fun experience – both professionally and personally.
