Presentation training
We run two distinct presentation training courses: the first is a general course to help people be more effective and confident when they stand up and talk to others, the second specifically addresses presentations to win work.
Course format
Each course is designed to fill a day and delegates are required to prepare presentations for delivery during the session. Both courses involve role-play and discussions as well as teaching. All presentations are videoed and reviewed on the day, to help delegates develop confidence. A printed, bound set of courses notes will be given to each delegate. Following the session, a copy of the video will be available. Each day is limited to 8 delegates.

All in-house courses can be tailored to meet the exact requirements of individual practices.
General Presentation Training
• Two separate videoed presentations per person

• The presentation itself
Presentations to win work
• Videoed presentations from individual delegates
• Videoed group presentations to a jury panel, using either a Colander case study, or a real-life new business opportunity

• Choosing your team and presenting together
• Rehearsals and dry runs
• Greetings and seating
• Dealing with nerves
• Reading body language
• Staying in contro

Cost
The cost of either of these courses is £2,000 + VAT for the full day with up to 8 delegates. There is an additional cost of £350 + VAT per day for the video man. This includes a DVD of the day’s proceedings.
Preparation time needed to tailor the course to your specific needs will be agreed with you in advance and charged at our standard day rates, available on request.
CPD
All our courses address the RIBA CPD requirements for either Project or Practice Management.
