Handling redundancy
Who is this course for?
This course is for directors and partners and senior managers who are involved in developing an engineering firm’s strategic business decisions, and in particular, those that impact on HR issues.
Why is it important?
The impact of the credit crunch has forced a lot of firms to rethink the way they work and reconsider the staff structure that they need to support their businesses and so thrive in an increasingly competitive market. The harsh reality is that many firms will need to lose people; the key to survival will be an ability to balance the skills and competencies of staff with potential business opportunities, while maintaining a strong and talented team for the future.
Course format
This is a full day course. It combines theory with practical applications, using case studies, group activities and discussions to ensure full participation and relevance to real life. A group of 10 to 12 delegates is ideal. A printed, bound set of courses notes will be given to each delegate.
