This is our version of a time management course – tailored to meet the specific needs of architects. It takes half a day and has been well received as a basic primer for anyone working in the profession who wants to make better use of their time.
It is run by John Forrester, who has many years of experience helping architects to manage themselves, whether through training or individual coaching. It is full of practical ideas on how time management techniques can be applied to the profession and looks at both personal and systematic issues to link proven theory with day-to-day reality.

• Making the best of the circadian energy cycle
• Setting priorities
• General and short-term planning
• Dealing with the things that waste time

As with all Colander training, this course is workshop in its style. It draws on John’s personal expertise, as well as proven theory and advice, supported by group discussions and activities. Numbers are limited to allow a lively, interactive session and make sure that the teaching is relevant to each delegate; all delegates receive a comprehensive set of bound course notes.
Cost
The cost per delegate is £240 + VAT: £288. However, a £50 discount is available if payment is received by 2 October 2012: £190 + VAT: £228.
CPD
CPD certificates will be issued. For architects, This course complies with RIBA core CPD requirements for practice management.
