This half-day course has been through much iteration over the years, as procurement processes have become ever more onerous. In these hugely competitive times, it is not surprising that it continues to draw an enthusiastic audience.
It is run by Caroline Cole who spends much of her professional life advising clients on their selection of architects. She has seen and analysed many submission documents with clients in both the public and private sectors and has hands-on knowledge of what works well – and what doesn’t.
The course refers to practical examples of clients’ requests for information and explores how best to approach the process-driven proforma EOI’s often requested by project managers as well as the less prosaic documents required as a precursor to a design competition.

As with all Colander training, this course is workshop in its style. It draws on Caroline’s personal expertise, as well as proven theory and advice, supported by group discussions and activities. Numbers are limited to allow a lively, interactive session and make sure that the teaching is relevant to each delegate; all delegates receive a comprehensive set of bound course notes.
Cost
The cost per delegate is £240 + VAT: £288. However, a £50 discount is available if payment is received by 4 September 2012: £190 + VAT: £228.00
CPD
This course complies with RIBA core CPD requirements for practice management; certificates are awarded on completion.
