This is a tough time to be running an architectural practice. Survival will not depend on design skills alone but on decisive leadership, flexible management, water-tight systems, market awareness and effective presentation skills.

We believe we can help.

We work with start up architectural practices, with medium sized organisations looking to manage their growth and with the large prestigious practices with offices around the world.

We work with senior management teams and with individuals, to develop both collective aspirations and personal skills. We expect our involvement to be tailored to meet the specific needs of each of our clients.

Our training courses address the soft skills to do with leadership and staff management, as well as marketing and presentation skills.

Our business reviews look externally at client perceptions and internally at staff aspirations.

The management consultancy we offer helps practices to plan for the future – especially in these difficult times – and our coaching helps senior people deal with the day-to-day stresses of running a consultancy business.

We also run away days to help management teams discuss tricky issues, reach a consensus and devise an action plan.

Discretion and confidentiality are of paramount importance in our work.

We have delivered long-term business planning and management consultancy to more than 60 architectural practices and undertaken external perception surveys for over 30 of them.

More than 40 practices have commissioned us to run various in-house training courses for their senior people, while 350+ different practices have sent people on our public training courses.

More than 230 architectural practices have taken part in our benchmark survey of the profession.
