Tom Taylor
For over a decade, Tom has provided a range of hugely successful courses for Colander on the subjects of design team leadership, programming and planning on projects.
He is one of the founding partners of Buro Four, where he still works as a consultant, and is a vice President and Past Chairman of the Association for Project Management. He worked for ten years with Arup Associates, where he developed his career-long interest in the management of the design process.
He believes strongly that architects should lead, organise and manage the design team and has developed a range of methods and techniques to help make this happen.
Through his consultancy, dashdot, he principally works advising and supporting client organisations and project teams on major projects. He has experience of using most forms of contract and project types. He has recently published a series of practical guides for project managers, their employers and clients.
